Dr. Daniel Lapidus was raised in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2006, he completed an advanced education in general dentistry at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, and was the chief of clinical dentistry at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. After completing his Air Force service, Dr. Lapidus came to San Luis Obispo, California. Most recently Dr. Lapidus has completed a master’s degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine, making him a leading expert and practitioner in TMJ disorders and other facial pains.
Dr. Lapidus has advanced training in sedative dentistry, implants, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and oral pathology (cancers and other irregularities of the face and mouth.) He is a member of the ADA, CDA, Central Coast Dental Society and American Academy of Orofacial Pain.
Dr. Daniel Lapidus maintains a private general dentistry practice in San Luis Obispo, California. His practice is limited to restorative dentistry and orofacial pain.
