We recognize that in-house, patient-specific abutment milling allows you to expand your business in a growing segment of the industry. While the reduced costs and quicker turn times are appealing, adding such a capability in an increasingly regulated environment can be daunting. When you become a Preat Validated Milling Center, we help you onboard this new capability at your lab in a safe and compliant way.
As a Preat Validated Milling Center, you will have immediate access to our 510(k)-cleared titanium blanks. The preformed blanks are compatible with 40 popular interfaces – including longtime market leaders such as NobelActive/Conical, newer designs such as Straumann® BLX and Neodent® GM, plus niche sizes such as BioHorizons® 3.0 – and manufactured to the same standards you expect from Preat.
As part of your onboarding, you’ll receive training on the FDA quality requirements for patient-specific milled abutments. An on-site consultant will help you either implement the required procedures within your existing quality system or install a quality management system.
We’ll lead you through both machining and software validations to ensure that your patient-specific designs are consistently milled as expected. We’re invested in the quality of the restoration you're providing your clients and their patients as much as you are.
To help you start realizing the benefits of in-house milling sooner, we packaged together the work instructions your team needs to maintain FDA compliance. And these aren’t just templates we throw at you, your on-site consultant will train you and your staff.
We’ve partnered with Digital Dental to bring you this end-to-end FDA compliant program utilizing their Titan Mill.
